Any help will be highly appreciated!
The Awana Grand Prix is coming up Wednesday evening, April 3. There's still time to pick up your child's car at the church office through Friday, March 29. Races will begin at 6 p.m. in the gym on April 3 and the whole church family is invited to attend. Free hot dogs will be served while we cheer on the racers. Cost of the kit is just $5 so pick up yours this week! Give a shout out in the comments if you recognize your child's old car from years gone by.
Proud of our college students under the leadership of Michael Sandusky, who spent their spring break serving others and sharing the Gospel. Some went to Canada, some went to Florida. Here's an interesting article from the Panama City News Herald about the work the SAU BCM students did in Florida. https://www.newsherald.com/news/20190323/different-kind-of-spring-break
What a blessing to have worship led this morning by Russell and Amber Cummings Gregory, along with Lauren Riemar! Thanks for sharing your gifts, and God’s blessings upon you! Grateful also to our guitarists, Larry Howell and Chris Story (in background) and all our accompanists!
All Wednesday night activities are cancelled due to sickness and trying to help prevent the spread of germs.
Congratulations to our Bible drillers, who competed at the Regional Bible Drills Saturday. From left are Sam Williams, son of Chuck and Mandy Williams; Eli Bell, son of Matt and Christa Bell; and Judah Ray, son of Jason and Mercedes Ray. Keep up the good work and reminding all of us of the importance of studying and knowing God’s Word!
Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this a great season of Upward Basketball!
Don't forget the closing program on Sunday afternoon, 3 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Players start out in the Fellowship Hall.
Don’t forget the Master’Singers Concert at First Baptist Church of Cullendale this Thursday evening, Feb. 21. Our very own minister of music, Bro. Jeremy Raines, has a solo and several of our church members also sing in the choir. The 160-voice choir is comprised of worship ministers and choir members from all over Arkansas. The big bus will be traveling up for the concert and there’s no charge to ride. Just be in the bus by 6 pm for the short trip up to Camden. We will return right after the concert is over.
Just a few shots from some of today's games!
It’s movie night next Sunday, Feb. 24 with the movie Like Arrows, a great Christian movie on parenting. Movie time is 5 pm and while there’s no family meal that night, we will serve popcorn. Make plans to join us for “Like Arrows”!
We packed 10 backpacks for the Comfort Bag Ministry during LLL Tuesday. Mercedes Ray, program coordinator, said the bags are given to children facing emergency situations, such as entering foster care. Assisting Mercedes in the presentation were Ali Hollingsworth of Hermitage and Shayde Cook of Gilliam. Following packing the bags, we all enjoyed a delicious potluck meal. Next month’s program will be the Senior Adult Celebration on March 12 in the gym. Churches throughout the Liberty Baptist Association are invited to attend.
With apologies to the real Pips!

Wow, what a blessing to hear the Master'Singers at the ABSC Evangelism Conference at Geyer Springs Baptist Church. The choir is made up of ministers of music, choir members and staff spouses from across Arkansas. The 160-voice choir tonight included our own Jeremy Raines, Brenda Garrett, Sharon Ford, and Katherine Long. The choir will be performing Feb. 21 at Cullendale First Baptist Church and we plan to take a bus. Look for more details and a chance to sign up soon.
